وسجل الخنيسي هدفي المباراة في الدقيقة 32 و الدقيقة 54 من ضربة جزاء ورفع رصيده الى 7 أهداف في البطولة الكويتية حيث يتصدر فريقه الذي يدربه نبيل معلول الترتيب برصيد 39 نقطة.
