فشل الترجي الرياضي التونسي اليوم الجمعة 22 أفريل 2022 في المرور إلى الدور نصف النهائي من رابطة الأبطال الإفريقية بعد هزيمته إياباً ضد وفاق سطيف الجزائري بهدف لصفر.
وجاء هدف المباراة الوحيد عن طريق عقد المؤمن دجابو في الدقيقة الواحدة والعشرين من الشوط الأول إثر خطأ دفاعي من عبد القادر بدران.
وحاول الترجي الرياضي بعد ذلك العودة في النتيجة غير أن العارضة و حارس مرمى وفاق سطيف سفيان خضارية حالا دون ذلك.
وتتالت فرص الترجي في الشوط الثاني لكن محاولات غيلان الشعلالي، وكينعسلاي إيدو و محمد علي بن حمودة باءت كلها بالفشل، علماً أن إيدو كان قد سجّل هدفاً في الدقيقة الرابعة والستين ألغاه الحكم المغربي رضوان جيّد بداعي التسلل.
وبانتصاره في ملعب حمادي العقربي بهدف لصفر، اقتلع وفاق سطيف بطاقة التأهل إلى الدور نصف النهائي، بعد أن تعادل الفريقان ذهاباً في الجزائر دون أهداف.
